The moon looks down with a glee
Another voyager
Traveling
On a route which he believes is new
Millions before him
Traversed these waters
All believing so.
Great sense of purpose
To do something new
But the moon knows better
A few decades it will be
A life to learn and unlearn
A whole lot to see
