In the walk called life
We encounter stepping stones
Flat hard surfaces
Which act as supports
Providing stability
Balance
A bit of rest,
once in a while
When it is most needed
they seem all important
Till
We raise our foot
To place on the next
They stay there
Remembering those moments
As memories
That fleeting touch
Of the feet
Was an important
Event
But for the walker
It was just another
Stepping stone...
